Montreal has a lot to do in the summer and theirs usually a bunch of outdoor free festivals happening: definitely walk around Mount Royal street and the gay village (they’re seasonally pedestrianized), the jazz festival is happening soon as well, the old port is nice too and you can rent a bike and bike on the Lachine canal ~ Vancouver I’ve only been once but Stanley park for sure

Sydney: a walk to Circular Quay through the botanical gardens and then catching the ferry to Watsons Bay.
