Have you all watched the Devil Wears Prada 2 yet? I LIKED IT! It works well as a sequel and I believe it can as well stand alone on its own. But I can’t help thinking of all the loose ends left at the end…

@aleric_ that it deviates from the honesty of what the fashion industry is, elitist. I think it’s dangerous to paint an industry as cute and cuddly when reality is not that. In many ways it’s devious.

@lav oh I don’t think it even tries. There is a montage in which these characters have to briefly live like the rest of us and they just can’t. Did you watch the first one?

Sorry but nah... Anne Hathaway's performance was so trash. It felt so much like Emily in Paris... Nothing resonated like on the first one

I didn’t love it. But I liked Emily Blunts lines throughout. I was just waiting for her the entire movie. I feel like Miranda was too happy if that makes sense? Like she was very expressive and Anna wintour is still a pretty cold person in the workplace so it feels almost like Meryl was doing Anna a favor by portraying her as someone who is less cold. I feel like they were really aiming for those comedic lines as well and after the third time I was kind of over the gag.
