Basil, roasted pine nuts, garlic, parmesan and some good olive oil! Blend it! Done! Best pesto! πŸ₯³πŸ‘

@fouvey It's THE best! 😁 Same with dried tomatoes, parmesan, walnuts, garlic and olive oil!

@timosworld that’s quite valid. I have been making a sauce with garlic, paprika, sun dried tomatoes, tomato paste, sunflower oil, lime juice, Parmesan, salt, and the curve ball of maple syrup (just a tiny bit) and I really do measure by heart and make it a pesto consistency. But have been doing the same thing for weeks. And while it is delicious I’m bored.

@fouvey In my opinion, a blender is a really great tool to experiment with! I am exploring the big family of pulses, different root vegetables and more with it. And there are countless spices to learn about. Get creative! And be brave! 😘

@fouvey Some ideas for ingredients to experiment with: sweet potatoes, dark chocolate, water chestnut, hokkaido pumpkin, beetroot, pomegranate seeds,...
