establish boundaries? in order to find friends I think you gotta relate on an Intellectual level first which requires a setting that’s not hyper sexual, gay bar, Grindr, etc…

I’m admin for a queer social network for my local neighbourhood. We have an instagram account, WhatsApp community page and groups for general chats and specialist interests like crafting, theatre, climbing, swimming, activism and more . You can make queer friends in a non sexual way. Just have to connect. Find sports and hobby clubs or. Ale the network yourself

Try looking for people you have a shared interest with and not necessarily picking friends based on attraction, meet up during the daytime for a walk or a coffee somewhere public, pick activities that are inherently friend oriented rather than intimate couple type activities

@kulbs but in casual hobby clubs people think that I’m str8. It should be just queer sport club etc. which there aren’t any around where I live

There are still things I want to tell you. Small things, mostly. A plant I finally learned the name of. Something stupid one of my cats did. A sentence I heard on the street that would have made you laugh. A tree somewhere in Berlin carrying fruit, the kind we would have stopped to inspect as if discovering it ourselves. Sometimes something happens and my first thought is still: I have to tell you this. And for one tiny second, you still exist exactly where you used to. Then I remember. There is nowhere to send it anymore.
