Who makes for a better friend, a gay man or a lesbian? I’m making a fun/silly little presentation for my friends and wanted to get some thoughts from queer people. It’s not meant to be anything too deep but also looking for any interesting perspectives, funny replies or cold hard facts 👯‍♀️👯‍♂️

Haha between the two I’d say the lesbian. But in general I always think it’s the bisexuals 😌 but I’m biased 😂

I initially thought lesbians, but gay men friends, strictly friends, though rare, are a rare. When I was coming out I didn’t have many, the ones I did helped build my confidence.

There are still things I want to tell you. Small things, mostly. A plant I finally learned the name of. Something stupid one of my cats did. A sentence I heard on the street that would have made you laugh. A tree somewhere in Berlin carrying fruit, the kind we would have stopped to inspect as if discovering it ourselves. Sometimes something happens and my first thought is still: I have to tell you this. And for one tiny second, you still exist exactly where you used to. Then I remember. There is nowhere to send it anymore.
