Had my first chemo session yesterday. I’m feeling okay so far, but they told me the side effects can start kicking in over the next 48 hours, so I’m a little nervous about what’s coming.
On Saturday I’m also shaving my head, which is something I’ve been thinking about for a while, but I have to admit I’m pretty nervous about it too. It’s kind of sad seeing how the photos in my gallery are starting to change because of all this.
But I’m trying to remind myself that this is just a phase, and that when I finish treatment in December, my life will slowly start feeling like mine again. 🤞🏻
