Fellow gays, I want to start building muscle and I’m starting from scratch. What advice do you have? Any workout routines that really worked for you? How do I lose the nerves over going to the gym on my own?

if ur new to working out then start with doing a full body circuit with like ten resistance exercises to target the muscles in the entire body, do like 5 rounds of those ten exercises for 30 seconds each exercise without rest between exercises. it'll help u lean out, add muscle and make u feel great.

Pick a routine and stick to it. No need to switch out for new movements on a regular basis

@sierramichhh i second this, when i saw a documentary abt prisoners and working out, showing that with usually poor diet available to them and minimal equipment, they can achieve pretty impressive physiques from js doing the same workouts regularly...changing workouts too often to try and find the best way to get results sadly has a way of backfiring and preventing much progress at all so consistency and full effort when u do it is key plus as someone else said lifestyle and diet is HUGE. abs r made in the kitchen not the gym unless ur young and skinny without much fat yet then it's mostly the gym, good genes and fast metabolism but for everyone else u can't out run or out lift a bad unhealthy diet and poor lifestyle
