I wasn’t allowed to watch movies from when I was 6-12 years old. Which was fine. Whatever. What I will say tho is that when you don’t have the nostalgia aspect attached to it a LOT of the media you grew up with is like really not that good. Like fully not interesting to watch when you come into it as an adult with no emotional connection to it.
