Got my first full body massage in about 6 years and I’m feeling SO good. The massage therapist says I keep all my stress in my glutes and thighs. Good to know!

Gonna be super serious for a moment. Massage, especially a full body, deep tissue work over, has proven as effective or more so than any other treatment I’ve had for repetitive strain injuries in my legs, shoulders, neck and arms. Usually, the massage itself is painful, but the relief lasts long after. I’ve been in physical therapy, and they also do massage, but only on the part for which you’ve been referred to them. Sometimes that just causes the tightness to move! I also enjoy a good, spa style, body rub. Those are very relaxing and good to the skin, too. But deep tissue massage or cupping is what really helps me! Just make sure the person doing it is properly trained and licensed! A bad deep tissue massage is painful, but you do NOT feel better afterward!

@casbahmike I got it done by a licensed massage therapist friend who took his time thankfully!
