So the first person i met from Collective irl who was “friends only” not only would make comments that made me and my husband uncomfortable, but also constantly contacted me in any way he could to try to get me to hang out with him by myself. He even tried to have me sleep over in his one bed studio apartment, alone with him, despite me consistently turning it down and making it clear I’d rather sit on a train for an hour and a half and drive home half an hour to sleep at home, with my husband. He also consistently lied to other people we introduced him to, aka our FRIENDS, as to where he met me. Instead of admitting to being a Collective user, he told people we matched on BUMBLE “For Friends.” I’ve never even had a Bumble account b/c when I was single, they didn’t allow for same-sex matches. I didn’t know BFF existed, and he was actively telling my friends this was how we connected. Yes, he is a closeted bisexual, and though my husband, our other LGBTQ + ally friends, and I embraced this, we all started getting weird vibes directed at me. Today I told him how we all felt, he gaslit me and blocked me + my husband on IG. I clapped back and snatched his toupee, virtually.
