I’ve always wondered if, for other gay men, weight has also been their “Roman Empire.” Like me, have they spent most of their lives believing that reaching a certain weight or achieving a certain body would make life better?

For me 💯 ! I lost a lot of weight as a kid and then became hyper aware of it ever since. I think taking a more serious approach to wellness has helped me feel less intense about weight in general.

For me, as a part time model- yes. It’s so important to stay skinny. Even if it’s causing problems with my health. But private - no. I don’t care if I’m like 3 pounds over my dream weight. Life’s short and there shouldn’t be space to care about what other people think about my body
