I felt the same, as did my circle of friends. It definitely felt jarring because we’ve always celebrated. For us it was about this government’s actions re: Gaza and the choices it’s made re trans rights. None of us were in the mood to party, more in the mood for good community and friends. I reckon Trans Pride will be cathartic.

@anseo this is exactly it!! Coupled with just general anxiety about the hookup clubbing culture that is just 10x more intense at pride, which I’ve previously found very fun but wasn’t feeling this year. I’m glad I’m not the only one, so thank you friend!
