Love this hand painted Georges Briard plate I scooped up recently. I learned that “Georges Briard” was actually a pseudonym used by Jascha Brojdo who fled Poland in the ‘30s due to Nazi incursion. He worked with Max Wille, who came up with the name, which was used for their commercial products.
