I work in marketing and I’ve been analyzing how people engage with content in this app. If you want to grow your following here these are some of the things I’ve tried that have worked and that I notice get engament. 1. People respond well to organic posts, candids, raw photos, thirst traps 🫣 (overly polished photos don’t get that much attention) stick to authenticity, this is not IG. Post your best organic steel. 2. Talk about your personal interests, ideas, community moments, and make questions. People respond well to genuine questions and they provide feedback. 3. If you share art treat it like a tumblr and don’t hope people to get a lot of engagement with it, it’s for you. Think of it like exposure therapy. Some people might indulge but don’t expect anything crazy about it. 4. Make silly questions, I asked people what their fav emoji combo was and the responses were hilarious and it was a cute interaction. This app is meant to connect you with people, so don’t be shy and try new things! (The only metric I have to know this is based on the amount of comments people leave on posts since the likes are private + I’ve been testing different forms of content here) Your marketing bestie logs off.
