How do you survive a breakup? I mean not the end of a love story, but the end of everything you were building with someone you loved with all your heart

Feel all of your feelings fully, even the raw ones. Distance yourself from them for as long as you need to find a solid place in your heart again. Take yourself on dates – do the things you meant to do with them. Rewrite your story and rediscover life by yourself and with other loved ones. You will live again. You will love again. You will be loved again. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but it will come.

Time is the best medicine. I know it doesn’t feel like it now, but healing happens slowly, quietly, and more deeply than we expect. Be kind to yourself, every emotion you’re feeling is valid. Grief is not a straight path, and there’s no ‘right’ way to go through it. Just take it one day at a time. 🫂

Don’t fear any emotion, go through it feel it pain, anger, sadness any and all of them. But don’t let yourself fall into the darkness, use everything to rebuild yourself and more importantly learn from it, because it takes two to tango. If you don’t do this, you are doomed to repeat the same patterns and yes they same type of man. Trust me it’s been a couple of heartbreaks

Feel what you need to, that’s healthy. It ended for an objective reason though and wasn’t reciprocal anymore. Once you frame it like that it’s a lot easier to try and move on from it. Don’t discount your feelings though. Bottling it in is no bueno.

Never stop yourself from crying. It’s really important. It’s how your brain flushes out excess hormones to help restabilise your brains chemical balance and avoid mood disorders. It’s like how sweating helps you rid excess heat from your body. Except instead of heat it’s hormones.
