Does anyone else feel like meeting people has become easier, but actually connecting with someone has become harder? I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, especially how we keep meeting new people, trying, going on dates, talking… and still so often end up thinking “they’re nice, but I just don’t feel it.” So I went a bit nerdy with it and looked into what psychology says about endless choice, comparison, dating apps, and why having more options can sometimes make us more selective rather than more connected. I ended up writing a new Substack piece called “Why Nobody Feels Quite Right.” Would really love to hear your experiences too: do you think dating nowadays gives us too many options, or have we just become clearer about what we want? 🩵

Easier dopamine always wins over. Dating and apps are not an exception.
