Dating isn’t much of a focus, though single/partnered with friends/dating in profile is a great indicator if someone’s available and shoot your shot lol I like how its handled not being a bigger focus of the app, mostly queer connections/art so far. If you like someone and they’re single, set intentions and see if y’all match then go from there. Got a few good matches and met amazing people who like to go out on dates together sometime, it could vary 😅

@timosworld maybe it would be more interactive than I’ve seen so far, I’ve seen a lot of posts and pictures but very few people engages with them, but hey that’s just an observation of mine, the app is very beautiful never seen something like this 🤩

Actually… I kinda have. It might be too soon to call it “dating,” since I’ve only been on the app for a few days — but I did connect with someone in a way that really surprised me. After sharing more about my mindset, values, and the type of connection I’m looking for, this guy literally told me: “You’re exactly the kind of husband I’m looking for.” That hit different. So I decided to pause the idea of meeting more people for now, and give myself the chance to get to know him deeper. That said — I’m still open to making friends here. And I agree: Collective doesn’t feel like a dating app… but that’s actually what makes the connections feel more real. There really are beautiful minds here — and when you lead with yours, they find you.

@latelyeric Is very beautiful that you are connecting with someone very quickly. When I said ” it doesn’t feel like a dating app” is due to the ads, kinda made it seem that it was matchmaking app but when I got to use it to my surprise it feels more like Instagram and Twitter combined, since it doesn’t prioritize dating my mind goes directly to liking peoples pictures and commenting but seems like there’s not a lot of engagement either. It almost feels like an app for queer introverts which is not bad at all. I’m enjoying very much this new dynamic platform. Thank you for sharing your experience ❤️

i downloaded this app hoping for anything but yet another dating app. lgbt people can connect through more than just love or sexuality.

@als not all dating has to be sexual, at least I don’t sleep with everyone I date irl, this is actually a great app to create penpals in a queer space but yeah the ad was sold to me as a dating app
