I repainted and collaged this bookshelf during the pandemic— I had a semi-ruined Vanity Fair magazine on Janelle Monáe, hodgepodge, discounted mint green paint, sandpaper, and a dream 💭✨ It was part of a built-in 1970s bookshelf at a day care I lived two houses up from in Wilmington. This one was more dinged up than the other one I was given, and the other one’s stain color wasn’t sun bleached, which had made my decision clear on which to play with first.
