I’d therapy is a good way to process everything, but anyway it will take a long time to accept situation and live the life and do not think about that friend. From my experience, it took me 2 years of life to actually accept that we are not friends anymore. However, sometimes I still do thing about them, but it is like once in a month or so. So I guess the best way is just waiting and it is the most difficult part. Also, it depends on how long and how closed were you with your friend(s)

do something new everyday moving onwards, you'll forget about it eventually and laugh at how sad you were

Depends on the cause of the break up. If you carry guilt for something you did, it can help to make amends. Even if it wasn’t entirely your fault, you’ll feel better and you’ll know you did all you could to save the relationship.

@olegs it was formed about a year ago but it was really strong. I’m pretty good at accepting things as they are, although it just makes me sad that it could’ve been another way.

@gregor-brotons-relov I do fortunately have closure on why, as I called it off, just makes me more bittersweet even if it was meant to happen

Oh baby ! No négociables : NO CONTACT. zéro. Unfollow on social . Not triggers. If u have friends on commun u might need to hide their stories too. Anything that remind you of him. With that , time will do it thing . And so times move more quickly , u might want to connect with friends, gym, hobbies, go out (but don’t drink yourself to sleep that counterproductive)
