So I can’t post a cheeky photo covering my genitalia unless I have a perfectly sculpted body. Got it 👍🏼

thanks for saying that, same fucking thing happened to me many times while perfect bodies and friends of the founder just casually post soft porn

@misza really? That’s super sad to hear. I have been wondering lately the level of allowance for erotic/pornographic images here, who draws the lines and has the final saying.

Been really irritated about this lately. I’m glad someone else has noticed and has thoughts. 🙄

I was just talking to a friend on here about that! Like my theory is they allow it if they think it’ll get more engagement aka the stereotypical jacked physique 😫

@cjudd that’s horrible but lowkey will all of these levels of membership and notifications telling you how to get more engagement and likes, it’s not surprising. Sure the app isn’t owned by meta and our data may be safer, but that doesn’t save it from being toxic.

I’m sorry I missed it! I don’t know how the standards are set. I know Apple had some restrictions banning nudity in apps that are sold on its platforms. In 2010, the outcry over a graphic novel version of James Joyce’s Ulysses being banned for nudity was strong enough that Apple reversed itself and allowed the app. It’s also why you can’t have nudes in a public profile on dating apps sold in the App Store. I also appreciate that judgement calls are necessary, but it seems to me that the post you describe should be allowed. I know I’ve seen posts like it.
