I like playing sports! it helps me stay mobile and active and get the body I want myself to have but it’s not boring and i don’t feel as out of place or cosmetically inclined as going to the gym can feel. When I’m at the gym I kind of can’t figure out what to do next so tennis/bouldering/gymnastics just helps me 😅 and it’s hella fun

@kings_world That’s a great plan! That all sounds really fun too. I used to dance so maybe I should get back into it 😅 Swimming has also been fun lately, I guess I could take that a bit more seriously too 😝 you make great points. Thank you ☺️

For me, gyms can feel incredibly isolating, so I actually try to avoid them altogether. Instead, I stay active by engaging in group activities. I’ve found that group settings make it much easier to build a community and make friends. When you have a solid group of people expecting you to show up, that social accountability becomes a massive motivator—it makes you much less likely to skip a class or an exercise session because you genuinely don't want to let your friends down!

@xandermar you’re right, that’s probably why I loved dancing so much. It was the community 🥰 and using exercise as a creative outlet is always a plus in my books haha. I may have to look into joining some group activities in the near future
