@hansforddd Actually, I registered in this app specifically to help me spend more time in real life. In other apps, it feels like people are online just to post their photos to show their friends how cool they look and how great their life is, but definitely not to meet someone new. And if they are there to meet someone, it’s all very fleeting, and the next day they won’t even remember your name.

@falcon 100%, and the algorithms there make certain that you don’t see people you actually know very much. Just people selling stuff on their pages, ads, etc. It’s very isolating and departed from the initial purpose of social media, which was connection with people you know or new connections.
