Sooo, how come everyone on this app behaves so positive and nice? Has anyone else noticed? Especially in comparison to other gay apps…I really would appreciate your thoughts and feedback!

YES! Because we have REAL COMMUNICATON here. Like we are sharing our stories, our life, experiences and taste. People are so authentic because no body is competing each other with their body parts… But on the other side apps like hornet, grindr etc. people are just showing their dicks and asses sorry but they act like they are just bodies. There is no human connection, I feel like i am in the Zoo when I was using them. Because those apps, those culture wanted us to do that! At the start these apps were cool, like you can reach out people easily like you but now they are poisoning our identity. Also toxicity is on another level. We re not communicating on those apps we are just trying to find random bodies.

@ozgurto I agree, but on the other hand the average user here in my opinion is much better looking than anywhere else…sooo, exactly the people that on the other apps are branded as arrogant or being shallow and just conentrated on looks and superficiality here behave with decency, positive appreciation and manners. Is it the distance? You most certainly know that a conversation will not lead to a hookup. I believe there is more to this than just that.

Yeah, everyone here is super nice in their interactions, and while it’s less about “talking asses” 😂 and body-driven aesthetics, I still find people here don’t always respond to posts or really engage in lengthier conversations. Or at least not as easily as I thought they would. Still, much happier here than in Grindr or another dick-palace of the sort 🙏😎❤️

It’s slower than on other apps…but for me that’s kind of one of the perks.

@monopolik I know what you mean, right? We live in a culture that values & encourages instant gratification and outcomes. I’m all about learning the value of delayed gratification and enjoying the process of things

I think it’s in part because we have to give proof of a digital footprint to join. So, that stops the bots?

I think a lot of us are just tired by apps like Grindr and the lack of connection and realness there. At the same time Insta and Co do not allow us to be who we are. Aren’t we always thinking how and if we post there to not bother anybody? Here we are free and don’t need to pretend or protect.

@itzky well said. This is a space for LGBTQ people that does not reduce us to our sex lives.

Keep it this way

Niche community and you have to come on here generally with your real name and identity. Anonymity allows a large degree of toxicity seen on other apps
