@luisteran My interpretation based on what I’ve seen online is that a girl’s gay actively avoids community with gay men while a gay’s gay almost exclusively hangs out with other gay men. The two sides sometimes clash because the girl’s gay comes across as the stereotypical “gay best friend” while the gay’s gay is reduced to the “messy toxic cliquey gay”.

Haha what an interesting concept. But I do understand it. I'm a gay's guy but as of late I don't feel like the gays really want.. me... Is there a classification for home or nature? 😅 I'm a home's gay/nature's gay. 😄

i think what’s healthy is to develop a diverse friendship group, with queers, straights, everyone. I love my friendships with women and straight guys. I don’t think i could hang out with just gay guys for the rest of my life. All my friendships are very valuable and nourishing

used to be a girl’s gay in school, simply because there wasn’t anyone out. after that I kind of expanded the area of my friendships (you know, being with those because I care and not just because I see people everyday) which led to being a gay’s gay. but I think it’s very wholesome to be that and I love that we can all relate so much to one another

I guess I’m more of a gay’s gay now but for a while I was a girl’s (semi closeted) gay. It seems like as people get older and go through life and relationships these this change. Also the place where you live. I still have my best friends and they’re still the same girls but I spend most of my time within the gay community. Those girls know me inside out though and the gays don’t!
