I might varry my tattoo styles a bit more on my website. So when I clicked, the first few sheets might be understood as leaning more feminine. Depending on who get tattoos, (and given that you are describing wanting to serve more male clients) I might lead with more andro/masculine coded sheets or reconfigure so when I click on it I see multiple sheets at once. Right now on my phone (iOS) the sheets appear one at a time as I scroll down. I would also say what is the age of the gay men in your area. Think of the socialite and gay male culture there. Are they likely to gravitate to a frog with its cheeks out ? These processes are somewhat problematic— (as in thinking about binaries)—but thinking about your customers social identity, social context, etc. may help in a sense “sell” them something they will have on them permanently.
