My utmost favourite place in Japan is Kyoto, you get to see how Japanese history and traditions intertwine with modern present. Also Osaka is the food capital, Nara is feeding deers and historical temples, Nikko is where you can see the resting place of the Shōgun Tokugawa Ieyasu, and Kamakura has the great bronze Buddha statue
