A mixed media artwork features a close-up, abstract depiction of a torso, rendered in graphite with touches of watercolor. The textured surface and limited color palette create a unique artistic impression.

I don’t like to waste ink so I’ve making a ghost print after every monoprint. On this one i’ve added a little playful watercolour and graphite. 😇

Love it! What is a ghost print?

Thanks 🥰 So I make the monoprint and that transfers most of the ink onto the paper but there is always residual ink left on the printing plate. I could clean it off but I prefer to get a second and fainter, hence “ghost”, print. Sometimes it can be better if the goal is to be subtle. Otherwise it’s a nice freebie to do something creative with. Sometimes you can also get a second ghost. A whole haunted mansion of prints. 😋
