Hi. I usually get anxiety attacks from certain shorter events with specific triggers, but lately I have steady anxiety that last for days. Does anyone know ways to ground oneself well? I am constantly all warm and can’t think straight with chest pain and can’t formulate myself well. Workout doesn’t really help, slow deep breaths works in the moment.

@g.erardo Thanks for your input, appreciate it. I’m gonna book an appointment for a therapist soon, past days I’ve been taking it chill and focused on me a lot. Working out, healthy eating, affirmations, journaling and talking with family and friends. Yoga has worked well too! Baby steps!

Try yin yoga, it focuses on breath work and presence while slowly moving through long-held asanas (poses). And maybe after try some 2-3min (or longer!) journaling prompts. I recently journaled to these prompts and found them really grounding and restorative: 1. What do you need? 2. What in your life needs to expire? And then ofc do whatever else your mind and body needs in the coming weeks to make you feel better more consistently. :)❤️

@sierramichhh Thanks I appreciate it! I actually started journaling last week and it helps to navigate my emotions and let things out. I will try to work with those two questions and see what it brings. Also did some yoga today which felt great 💙
