@pelin well I’d say follow EVERYONE here on your city and interact with them. Remember they’re already living there and you’re trying to wiggle your way into their lives. People are open to having new friends but if life doesn’t force you to hangout, you’ll have to come up with plans. I’ve made a really close friend with this app just because we both decided to put in the effort to build a friendship. And on Bumble BFF, you’ll have to show your hobbies on your profile rather than trying to look good lol I’d also put in any activity you wanna do/event you wanna attend on your profile. People do swipe right to join you on that usually! Best of luck. It’s a daunting process and can be a bit isolating but you just gotta push through.

@judecasimero I did but unfortunately 80% of the activities in my city is about running and i dont run😭

leave the ego at the door. unless people outright communicate they’re not down to hang then I’ll stop asking. or it’s crystal clear that they’re not interested. if they’re new friend(s) everyone has their own schedules and obligations, and you aren’t going to be a top priority. in my mind: they gave me their socials. the block button exists on their end. or they can stop responding 🤷🏻‍♂️

to add on: i prefer quality over quantity. some prefer the other. others can do both. i enjoy my solo time as much as being around people, so when i bring too many people into my circle, it can get draining and i can get drained and overextended with commitments rather than being able to invest time in building those relationships 🥰

@macintosh I do prefer quality over quantity ad well. I really do need one person thats all.
