I have trouble comprehending a lot of the things that happen in this world especially right now and how people can be so…terrible. Like how? How can people be that awful? I think my soul has a lot of understanding though because I feel a very deep sadness deeper than just my conscience:’(

for me, the world has always been falling apart (and together) but now it seems to be much closer to some people (mainly people in the usa) and so now it feels very loud. i can understand it as an imperial boomerang, but i can’t understand the indifference, myself included

This queerling is the most helpful person I’ve ever met. And we met on @collective! We’d been chatting here for some time. When I landed in Toronto, they drove me from the airport to my Airbnb. They invited me to their Thursday vegan potlucks, which was a great way to meet new queers. They offered me an apartment to rent in the house they live in. I lived there all by myself. They helped me navigate Canada. And when I was sick. And many other times. And they drove me to the airport on my last day. I wouldn’t have made it without you.
