Is physical attraction essential at the start, or can it grow later?

It may well be true that men and perhaps gay men in particular often begin from a more visually decisive position. The architecture of male attraction seems to grant the eye a certain authority at the outset, which is why the culture around gay men has developed this elaborate taxonomy of “types”, bears, twinks, jocks, and so on, as though one were cataloguing specimens in a botanical garden. 😂😂 Yet even if the first judgment is delivered swiftly by the eye, I would hesitate to call that verdict final… Human perception is remarkably plastic; familiarity, admiration, and intellectual affinity have a quiet way of revising the initial geometry of a face or body to a certain extent.
