@ericv Dancer from the Dance was the first the first gay novel I ever read! It got me in a bit of trouble, too! I was so young! I should read it again.

@ericv πŸ’―! Of course the paperback cover is what made me swallow my shame (things were so different then) and buy it! It was white and featured a photo of slim, shirtless, hairy-chested guy in jeans! If I saw him today and he had pulled a Dorian Gray to keep his youth, I’d probably recognize him even though he was a fairly ordinary looking guy.
