I’ve recently been let go from an eight year long career. A career that in many aspects was an identity of mine. I like to see it as a blessing in disguise as I fear that the comfort would have kept me trapped for years to come. Yet, it’s difficult to part ways from something so abruptly and without making peace with the decision before hand. I’m grieving the career that in large part made me who I am today. Any antidotes or recommendations welcome.
