Anyone else fed up with hyper sexualization, in media and LGBTQ+ culture? I’m getting tired of it, mainly because of the amount of SA stories. As well as people’s physical boundaries getting violated. I’ve experienced both, especially on the LGBTQ+ hookup app. It bothers me how casual it is, and yet the people violated. Don’t always get the understanding they deserve, it’s horrific and bleak. I’m uncomfortable in my own body sometimes, do to being touched in a way I wasn’t ready for or consented to. People are more then looks, some things in society need to change generally. It starts with voicing up, and being committed to needed change. I rest my case, this perspective can also be used for other humanity issues. Not just this one.

it’s amazing how aggressive guys are esp the ones met on certain apps. even if my profile says i like certain things doesn’t mean u can js take and assume u don’t have to give me a sense of safety first so i can relax into it. it’s unfortunate how often guys don’t wait for consent or showing mutual interest before going in on what they really want aka get off with something besides their hand
