cis/het centred romance has to imagine the most superfluous conflict for a plot to even exist. the story has to be borderline fantastical for there to be any stakes. then you look at lgbt centric romance and the conflict comes from…having to exist irl, in a world of bigots.
anyways- anyone have any good movie suggestions? lol
