something I find extremely beautiful and healing about adult relationships - new & old - is that they are always finding parts of you to complement. what I mean by that is, for those of us who do not necessarily meet or relate to European beauty standards, we all share the lived experience not being the most attractive person in the room. so receiving those complements from individuals who are none the wiser of our own insecurities - they allow us to see ourselves in a newly formed light. that was a very long winded way of saying thank you for helping heal wounds that have always been there ♥
