relistened to c,xoxo by camila cabello and i truly slept on it when it first came out. but i think a lot of art, music, creative things sometimes hit different in different times. like ive always been a charli xcx fan when she first came out (og angel) but everyone else thought her music was weird and not enjoyable. now she has reentered in the pop universe with brat which has allowed new listeners to appreciate her prior projects beforehand. i feel like c,xoxo is doing the same thing for me. i feel like it’s fitting for the year we’re having so far. it’s fun, lighthearted, but also chaotic and messy (in the best way) aside from the drake songs, it’s a pretty solid album that fits this year more so in my opinion than last year. anyways do you all have a similar experience to sleeping or not rlly vibing with something and then a few months, years, even decades revisited and it was like seeing magic?
