During cycle testing of a device in our lab, the entire ceiling caved in because some idiot upstairs decided to plug the sinks in the mens bathroom and turn the faucets on until enough water pooled on the floor over the weekend that it seeped through the bathroom floor into the ceiling tiles in the lab and caused it all to collapse into the lab, wet soggy ceiling tiles all over the cycle testing equipment and pc that was logging sensor data, temperature and a bunch of other stuff as well as our test rug. Not fun. We came in on a monday, with it basically “raining in the lab” because the faucets were still running. There were 1” puddles of dirty ceiling water everywhere. And sooooo much ruined equipment. Admittedly it was hard not to laugh because of how absurd it was 😂

That’s wild 😭 I can’t even imagine walking in on a Monday expecting a normal day and finding the lab basically turned into an indoor waterfall. How was the aftermath?
