NYE is the weirdest night of the year because generally you’ve to choose between social overload or social isolation. My rule of thumb is to do a check in w yourself about how your social battery is post Christmas. If it’s on the lower side and rest feels needed, listen to it 🫶

@michenoble It can be absolute carnage to get home too but if your body needs a party you won’t mind that. If you need something more chill you’ll be allergic wading through that chaos 😅

@anseo Yh true, probably too much hassle considering the outcome of my night out would always be on a knives edge coz I tend to go out alone, I hope my car is fixed by then and I can just go for a chill drive

@michenoble If it’s still in the shop on NYE, promise yourself a particularly good drive with some food in the new year. I’m having a chill one this year as well because my rescue dog goes into ORBIT when the fireworks start. I’d feel so bad leaving him deal with that so I turned down the party and instead will spend it at home with my partner, him and some dog Xanax 😅

@findingjoshua I’m leaning towards a chill evening with friends at someones home. But in the past when I’ve spent NYE alone I’ve opted for a self care evening (think your fave drink, long bath, intention setting for the year) and then gotten up early for the sunrise NYD - I’m in Aus though, not sure how sunrise would fare in colder climates 💕
