People talk about love bombing but what about affection bombing? Like when you’re getting to know a guy & he’s affection bombing you calling you cutie, beautiful etc only to later ghost you. I feel like it creates a false sense of intimacy. Just call me by name until we’re together then you can spoil me with all the affection.

@juvenlee_surrealart which is why i wouldn’t date someone I wasn’t friends with because through friendship you get to know someone without the fast burn & honeymoon stage chemistry.

Oh god I’m guilty of this, need to work on it. I think it’s because I live in fear of coming across boring on apps. Finding good chat and sustaining it can be tough.

@guesswhosjack after trying to keep a convo going whether it’s on the apps or some guy that asked for my no, i now match people’s energy & reciprocate accordingly. If someone wants you they’ll let you know.

@bryan-tino I hear you. It’s so cliche but I do think just being myself is the best way to ascertain whether someone wants to engage with or being accepting of me. It also makes it that extra bit harder when you don’t find it though.

@guesswhosjack clock that! Well i think not having expectations of anything is key so if you don’t find it, it’s easy to move on.
