Have y’all ever met someone who just weighs the room down? It’s such a strange feeling, like my whole body reacts before my mind catches up. The arrogance of some people doesn't deserve my peace of mind, nor my presence. It throws me off balance. I step back, breathe and choose balance. I’ve been intentionally learning it. Feelings I just need to put out of my system {nº 1}.

I use the expression, “this person has heavy blood”. Their vibe or energy weighs down the environment they’re in 😵‍💫

@lucidbronze damn, that hits way harder. thinking about it now, I don’t even know if it’s intentional or if they don’t notice how people tense up around them. or maybe, just maybe, they enjoy it. like some twisted little power game. even tho, it’s draining.

@vctor I think some people spill their unresolved pain into the world without even realizing it. But there are also people who know exactly what they’re doing and still lean into the chaos because any attention feels better than none. It’s sad honestly. Seeing someone choose harm just to feel something

For the first time in my career I’ve been signed off due to burnout 🫠 My default personality’s friendly golden retriever but damn the past few months have been back to back pressure and I buckled. I need to do a lot of soul searching about what to fix and what career switch is right for me. Unhelpfully, burnout causes brain fog so 🫠 step one is just piecing my brain back together. I’ve no idea what I’m doing but Louie’s gentle friendship has been healing. He doesn’t demand anything from me, he’s just happy to pad alongside me in the woods and keep me company while I figure this out.
