Try to get out of your comfort zone and try a lot of new workouts! I like paying attention to my form and really try to notice what muscles are being worked!

Always reach failure with every set. If muscle is what you want to build. 🔥

Make smart dietary decisions, sleep is your bestie, and stretch. Most important is to listen to your body’s feedback, not the mirror, and remember that it’s a lifestyle journey not a sprint

Try a PT, they’ll do you a diet plan and workout plan. Go for a PT that specialises in your goal. My first was to lose weight, and my current one is to gain mass/muscle. Supplements, protein and diet are key and make sure you’re taking enough fluids throughout the day.

Honestly imo pick one thing at a time to focus on and make consistency your ultimate goal. It was much easier to focus on first getting to the gym, then perfecting my weekly routine, then eating better, then taking supplements—than trying to do all that at once (but if you can props to you!) Don’t skip mobility stretches!! It helps with the actual exercises yes, but also overall quality of life. I walk and sleep better bc im dedicated to daily stretching. A good playlist is important and if you’re on the treadmill, stream your favorite show to pass the time!

And don’t forget to take progress pics/vids, it helps to see the difference on the days when you feel you’re in a rut and wanting to give up

Dynamic stretching before, focus on form and muscle balance over weight to start.

Don't rush yourself. You will get the hang of it over time; you dont have to do it perfectly starting out. Ive heard going to failure builds muscle quicker BUT you dont have to. You will still build muscle even if you stop a few reps before failure; this works better for me personally, motivation wise, and I can definitely tell a difference in how I look. Try to do 2 sets of 10-15 reps; if you do over, go to the next weight up. This is what I do and like I said I can tell a big difference. Drink water too this is priority! Its really hard to workout while dehydrated

Keep it simple and repeat workouts. Plan your workout ahead, I.e.; push pull legs, repeat push day workouts over the span of 6-8 weeks then switch it up
