Just came out to my parents, and ofc they already knew. Somehow ended up being the hardest yet easiest thing I’ve ever done. I can finally exhale after almost 30 years 🏳️‍🌈

I had this experience with a lot of my friends. Why do they not just say something quietly encouraging in advance if they ‘know’, like “just putting it out there but I love you and I don’t care if you like the boys or the girls or both or none of it or any combination so just know that”. I think that would have saved me a lot of undue stress! Anyway, many congratulations- I’m happy for you 🥳
