To come out or Not to come out That is the question That is ALWAYS the question I don’t know how much longer I can deal with being dead named and misgendered by family

Sadly, it is always a process and I’m not one who believes you have to come out to everyone, but with family and close friends, my advice would be the sooner the better. It’s exhausting, otherwise.

I have perhaps a different view about this. I don’t believe in “coming out”. I feel discussing my sexuality is now something I owe to anyone. I’ve told my friends I was going out with a guy. They said that’s cool. I told my sister I was dating someone and she asked for a picture and it was a photo of a guy. Perhaps that’s coming out but I don’t think you need to say “I have something to tell you. I’m gay”.
