@artfromla it describes the form of shallow pro-LGBTQ marketing which expresses allyship but falls apart when the wind changes - or it is established to make people think they care about us in the first place. A good example is the “rainbowification” of many corporations during pride

……….there could be more POC, and like black people.. the skin tone range her is very, uh, western ideal… and Asians too… matter of fact, this app is for white people 😂 😂 ….and then yknow.. some of them are undercover racist.. took me forever to accept that… it could also be more purposely inclusive… I haven’t seen a lot of disabled people, or androgynous people.. everyone kinda, no offense looks and acts the same around here, for the most part… everyone continues to only show highlights of their life… ironically enough though.. I’d still rather be with the queers.. so 🫠 😂

And everyone is so pretty and there’s such a good mix of people here! If only they removed some of the paid features and made them free, it would be amazing.

If I may ask, what advice would you give to someone asking how to use an app like this to actually build a real community? Like how does one make friends? Or even one? Sometimes it seems impossible or like no one is actually on the other side. Do you know what I mean? Maybe it’s just me…
