Some do. I also know some non-fit/“hot” guys who think they are superior to everyone. Being full of oneself is not at all limited to one body type. Fortunately, neither is it a universal trait of one body type.

I think it really depends a lot on their self-esteem, which I believe is something a lot of physically attractive/fit gays who feel superior to others lack. I find that attractive guys who are truly secure and have an internally grounded self worth tend to not need constant reinforcement of external markers (looks, status, approval of others, etc.) and thus feel less compelled to even rank themselves against other people
