@timosworld That’s a tough question 🤣 Honestly, as a bator I’m fond of BateWorld. It has its bad apples, but it achieves the purpose of Grindr while managing to maintain a positive, welcoming community.

@timosworld I mean sex. Like that's all it's good for here at this part of the world. I tried looking for friends but only get laughed at. Then you go on looking and you're either too old, not toned, not their type or not good looking the lists are endless. The pic collectors are endless. But then the horny kicks in you go looking and then wonder why you did. If I lived in a city like London I think I wouldn't use it. But when you live in small rural parts it's kind of the go to. At this stage in my life it's just a bad habit I can't shake. I try but having been on it for 13 years it's addictive.

@timosworld superficially, the interface. It’s awfully outdated. More personally, I’d like people to stop assuming what others are into just because of the nature of the website. The bating world can seem shallow from the outside, but it’s quite varied!

The amount of ads got me to delete it for good—when the app is nearly unusable unless you pay through the nose, there isn’t much of a reason to stay 🤷‍♀️

Same, I think I’ve experienced like 3times of “download-delete”, this time for good I wish, it’s always like a toxic struggle for me, like for sure it’s an app with high sexual intentions, so people really just “choose” you by the appearance. Which makes me having a lot of bad thoughts like “Am I not enough?”. And sometimes these thoughts really scares me cuz I’m trying to be a person with high self esteem and confidence, I even got bad thoughts like “maybe because I’m an Asian”. But the truth is i want them sometimes or somehow, but I really don’t feel well while using it, so I deleted it again.
