I hope I'm not being spammy, but I love communicating through music...🎸❤️💎 Looking for people who like to discover new music and also share theirs! For fans of Nick Cave: did you know this lesser known song? Such a great groove, fantastic videoclip! Kick ass lyrics! Let's connect if you're Nick Cave fans or just music nerds and as much of a sucker as me for really sharp, well written lyrics 😎 Feel free to comment!

Everyone I get close to winds up leaving. What’s the point anymore. People just use you for a few bit when they’re bored or if they need a distraction from something and then that’s it. And then once they’re done with you, thrown away. It’s like you never even existed. And people wonder why I have trust issues. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Any Leonard Cohen fans or poetry lovers out there? This is for you, my dears 😎 One of his lesser known poems, not on any album, and beautifully delivered live in this video ❤️ Let's get a thread going: if this poem moved you, feel free to comment on why, or highlight your favourite words. Enjoy!

A question to anyone willing to respond! Is is typically normal for you 100% carry basically every conversation you are a part of? Family, Friends, Associates, potential other half, you send most if not all of the messages and recieve little responce and its alwayse days or weeks later. Im just tryin to figure out if im the one whose being unreasionable when it comes to potential relationship conversations. I figured they should be atleast Slightly different than a normal conversation. if im wrong, i need to both know and then change some things.

I can’t describe the loneliness of living alone after 11 years in a relationship. I no longer remember how to enjoy being by myself. The nights feel silent and monotonous. It’s not sad - just different. But it will get better 😊

Nobody loves a stalemate. Liking it is another matter. Sharing bed sheets in a downy purgatory. Softness, no matter the position you prefer. You could lie in satin for eternity, but you’ll never love it. It’s a commitment in name only. A lovely open room with nowhere to sit. Standing, never acknowledging the windows, exits that could end the imagined battle whose victory is avoided at any cost, destitution embraced, bare bones coveted over any semblance of concession, a feast of truth left to rot along with the minds of men who desire the battle over the simple option of peace

referencing in fashion: take Coco Chanel and Alexander McQueen for example, they both have EXTREMELY different styles but they both wanted to empower women, and now people are simply referencing the clothes and not the idea that it was made to empower women, so now the clothes lack that energy and end up falling flat and the wearer is worn by the clothes, there’s not attitude or confidence

-Ron Lorent-

How to make more LGBTQ+ friends Making more queer friends sounds easy, but it can be surprisingly hard. Our increasingly isolated digital world doesn’t help. Enter Collective, a thriving online community that helps you find new gay friends both locally and abroad. Try these tips using the app to grow your circle. Support the arts You don’t have to be an artist to form friendships through art. Use Collective to find drag shows, photography exhibitions, or open mics in your area. Introducing yourself to a person at an event for an artform you love can easily turn into going to the next one as buds. Start something new Have a niche interest like B-Horror, bee-keeping, or blowing glass? Whatever it is, start a club that meets virtually or in-person. Post on Collective to spread the word and find friends to nerd out with. Let the world know Tell friends far and wide that you’re looking for more LGBTQ+ friends. There are many queers in the same boat. All it takes is sharing a text post on Collective that you’re looking to go dancing or bouldering, and watch the comments pop off with gays keen to join. if you ask me on a deeper level, i think people who’ll watch the HP series for nostalgias sake should do so… by doing it illegally. at the end of the day, who am i to police someone’s enjoyment of art? but what i will say is, if you care about trans people, you shouldn’t be invested in giving a singular cent of your money to Joanne. enjoy the media away, just don’t give her your money. 🏴‍☠️

The Architecture of Silence You appeared without warning, rising from the lake’s mist, and I had no way to prepare for the impact you’d have. In your eyes, I saw beauty—your smile brighter than anything I’d known. I fell quickly, dizzy from your charm and the flood of compliments that made up for years of silence. You were exhilarating. What followed was deeper. You gave me intangible gifts—feelings I never imagined possible. You made me believe I was important, desired, worthy. You said I brought you peace, that God brought us together, that you’d always protect me. With you, I felt transformed—strong, confident, unstoppable. Then, just as suddenly, you were gone. No warning, no explanation—only silence where love once lived. The loss was devastating, a sharp, enduring ache. I still don’t know whether to grieve what’s gone or be grateful it happened at all. The silence weighs heavily, but beneath it, something remains. You didn’t protect me from the pain of losing you—but you did protect me from my own doubt. My world is darker now, but I finally know my worth. My heart is broken, yes—but for the first time, it knows it deserves to be loved.

I’ve been reminiscing on these, old glittery christmas cards. You know, the ones with that old style, “maximalist” drawings… and though I never experienced it; it took me back to a fond memory. Do you ever get hit vy nostalgia like that too?
