About

I ended a 4 year relationship this year and ironically when I first met that person, I knew we wouldn’t last forever. In the back of my head i knew this day would come. Do i feel like i wasted 4 years? No. We had some incredible fun along the way but growing incompatibilities further made the break up easier in a way. No hurt, no remorse just letting go.

Does anyone else hate receiving Christmas cards? I get such joy putting them through a shredder on Christmas Day to finally be rid of them…

📆This year is coming to an end, and somehow, we made it through. There were hard days, quiet loneliness, moments of sadness and self-doubt. But we’re still here. And for that alone, we deserve to be proud. Life wasn’t easy—but we survived it. And that makes us incredibly strong.✌🏻💪🏻

Okay I need at least two episodes explaining why Kip the barista is just as jacked as the professional hockey players AND why everyone in Heated Rivalry exclusively wears black boxer briefs!! Am I thinking too hard about this?!

I bought sneakers. Burgundy ones. I told myself I should buy grey — sensible, neutral, “everyday.” But deep down, I wanted the burgundy. So I got them. For two days I wore them, and they hurt like hell. I thought, aha, that’s what I get for wanting something bold. Should’ve gone with grey. And then it hit me — the problem wasn’t the colour. The problem was the size. Life is like that, isn’t it? We think it’s about choosing grey or burgundy, when all along it’s about finding what truly fits

A lot of people say they don’t want drama. What they actually mean is that they don’t want emotional responsibility — ni pour eux, ni pour les autres. We live in a time where intensité is celebrated, but clarté feels threatening. People crave closeness: long nights, soft conversations, physical presence, la chaleur humaine. Yet the moment something requires direction, intention, or continuity, they freeze. So they hide behind language. “Let’s not rush.” “We’ll see.” “It’s just a moment.” As if vagueness were wisdom. As if emotional fog were depth. But there’s a difference between being deep and being lost. Between sensibilité and indecision. Between freedom and avoidance. Many minds today are divided: one part wants connection, tenderness, passion, présence. The other panics at stability, consistency, engagement. This inner contradiction creates chaos — not out of cruelty, but out of fear of choosing. And here’s the paradox: trying to avoid drama by avoiding clarity often creates the very drama people claim to hate. There is nothing poetic about emotional ambiguity. Real peace comes from knowing where you stand — même quand c’est inconfortable. La vérité est simple. Yes?

I don’t understand people who think eternal life would be a curse. I’d rather stay on this awful planet indefinitely than prepare for eternal nothingness or maybe something worse

674 I think we’re all a little afraid to let anyone new come into our lives because it can change things in ways we can’t predict…yet we all crave new connections and get excited by them.. Stepping outside of comfort zone takes courage

To my bilingual friends: What have you found is the best way to learn a new language? I’ve been doing Duolingo daily just to do something with no financial investment. But, I’d like to invest in something that has better results. Is there a program that you found helpful, in person classes etc. Keep in mind, I only speak English. I’d love to move to another country for a few months and pick things up but that’s not an option yet. 😌
