This year, before I jump to a conclusion about myself I’ll first ask “Has my screen time been high lately?” A huge chunk of the economy depends on people believing they need a product or experience to be worthwhile. So massive amounts of money and expertise are poured into convincing us we’re perpetually lacking. I’ve had so many unforgettable experiences with Mariah Carey. Being in her presence is astonishing—having her sing, point, & wave to me still feels surreal. It truly feels like our connection runs both ways. For years, I saw Mariah 2 to 3 times annually, often outside shows—from her Walk of Fame after-party at the Roosevelt, where we sat across from each other 4 hours, to unexpectedly running into her & the twins at the Kiwanis Chili Cook-Off in Malibu. At a Caesars Palace Christmas meet-&-greet, we cried together discussing overlooked lyrics & how deeply they shaped us. I apologized to the fans behind me, and they said, “Do NOT apologize—it was beautiful to watch.” Through friendships with her team, she always remembered me—even following me on IG. Whenever she knew I was there, she’d come to the edge of the stage, look me in the eyes, & sing Dreamlover—our song—& Always Be My Baby. Even before we spoke, we were on the same frequency. I once predicted her album would be called Cautiously Optimistic. Months later, she announced Caution. Mariah helped shape who I am & helped me survive. Thank u 4 being legendary—at motherhood, music, & life. 4ever a fan. Love u, 2 infinity. 🌈✨♾️🦋🍯🎄🐑

just 1 more day, and it’ll be 2026… and I want to open up a bit. This year, to be honest; was a bit of a downward spiral for me. I don’t know how yours were, and I genuinely hope it was okay for all of you. But mine was a downward spiral. I started the year with a load of friends, and now I’m ending it (the year I mean) with only a handful. I know, friendships don’t last forever, it’s a fact. But it hurts, you know? Maybe I’m too sensitive for it, maybe I think it too much, but it’s that. As for me, it hurts to breathe sometimes. Sometimes I don’t even wanna leave my bed. Sometimes, I just feel a huge void where my heart should be. But I still breathe. Still get up. Still do my work. I just keep breathing, and hoping this too, shall pass. I keep breathing, just to see another day. Sorry for the weird and sad message, but I just… wanted to get this out. If you ever felt something similar/same, don’t hesitate to say it. Let’s leave some/all our grievances in 2025.
